Cardi B achieved one of her “childhood dreams” by purchasing a house for her mother.
The Bronx-born hip hop star, 26, shared an Instagram video showing the interior of the lavish new home and called it the “happiest day of my life.”
“I worked and worked and now I’m here !!” she captioned the video. “Thank you everybody who supported me to make my childhood dreams come true! Buy my momma a house !!”
Cardi — real name Belcalis Almánzar — didn’t say where her mother’s new home is located, but noted it is in New York.
She added that she wanted to buy her mother a house last year but opted to save up until she could afford the type of home she wanted to give her mom.
Cardi showed fans the home’s sprawling kitchen, basement, upstairs and foyer as she walked around the residence for the video.
The rapper exploded as one of the biggest acts in the music world last year and is known for a string of massive hits, including her chart-topping singles “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It.”
The artist, who is married to fellow rapper Offset, gave birth to their first child together — a daughter named Kulture — earlier this year.
Cardi said in the Instagram video that she’s excited for her daughter to grow up visiting her grandmother in the house that she just bought.
